"Dear Brian,
Thank you for your continuing support. Your recent generous donation will go a long way to the NH Food Bank. You and your customers are so great year round! Best to all, Kathleen, Board of Directors" The Kearsarge Lake Sunapee Food Pantry fed 1,396 households in the Kearsarge/Sunapee area in 2011, which amounts to 4,666 people.

When considering a holiday giving campaign in 2011, Brian and Dianne decided to collect non-perishables for the Kearsarge Lake Sunapee Food Pantry. In a conversation with Stephanie Barton of The First Baptist Church in New London, Brian was saddened to learn that the shelves of the pantry often run empty. It is difficult to keep up with the need in these difficult times, and many families are making the best of what they do have. Brian knows first-hand how this experience affects families, having grown up with 6 siblings during financially difficult years. Knowing there are children and families who are possibly going to bed hungry each night, Brian and Dianne decided to make the giving campaing a permanent fixture at Auto Advisors, and The Pantry Project was born.
When customers bring non-perishables to their service appointments a discount on the bill is offered. The Auto Advisors’ Pantry Project shelves are located in the shop’s lobby, and for every item a customer donates to fill these shelves, we will credit their account $1 at the time of service. While there is a $10 limit per visit, Brian encourages customers to donate at every appointment (don't tell anyone, but he has been known to make an exception from time to time for larger service visits!). It's a pleasure to see our customers particpate in The Pantry Project and we look forward to many continued years giving back.
